Besides that, Krasnodar is winner of All-Russian competition for the title “The most well-furnished city in Russia”. Krasnodar is a city with a rich history and distinctive culture. We have a lot of monuments of architecture which could be placed on new banknotes, — stated in the letter from Head of Krasnodar addressed to the Central Bank Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina.

As an example of Kuban capital remarkable buildings Vladimir Evlanov offered St. Catherine Cathedral, State Historical and Archaeological Museum of E.D.Felitsyn, Kuban State Medical University (the former Parochial secondary school for girls), monument obelisk in honor of the 200th anniversary of Kuban Cossacks Army, Triumphal Alexander’s Arch, monument “Cossacks — founders of Kuban land”, Catherine the Great Empress monument and modern sport venue — FC Krasnodar stadium.
