Today, as part of the business programme of the Conference of Russian and German Partner Cities, the exhibition presenting successful German-Russian cooperation practices started in the lobby of the exhibition and congress complex "Expograd Yug".
"The fair is attended by representatives of some 35 sister cities of Russia and Germany, various organizations and companies that promote bilateral relations between the two countries. Visitors of the fair were able to establish useful contacts and exchange experiences," said the organizers.
For example, at the exhibition the Centre for social development and self-help "Prospects" from Moscow presented a number of charitable programmes, the Berlin's Centre of new competencies for the civil society "DRA e.V." offered educational tours in Germany for specialists working in social, education and youth spheres."
Moscow State Regional University invited Russian schoolchildren to attend courses in foreign languages in Europe. Experts of the German-Russian Social Forum offered to present a social project relevant to our region in Germany or Russia.
Hermann von Helmholtz Association (Germany) presented its researches in various fields to the participants of the Conference.
"We are looking for ways to address the global and vital problems of society by carrying out high-quality studies in several scientific-research spheres. Cooperation with Russian specialists helps to effectively and quickly achieve outstanding results in scientific researches," noted the Association's specialists.
Additionally, a street soccer match with the participation of young people from Russia and Germany was being played in the parking area of exhibition and congress complex "Expograd Yug".
